Rudi Ruffles is available through the shop Posthorn90 (who don't have a website at present) if you pay us through our website we will forward the payment (together with your name and address) to Eunice, at Posthorn 90 and she will post your bear direct to you. Together we will try and keep the availability of bears up to date, but if something goes wrong and you buy a bear that Eunice has just sold in her shop we will of course refund your money, or if you prefer, make you a similar bear
Rudi Ruffles is quite a little bear, he stands just 5.5 inches/14 cm tall and is 4.5 inches/11 cm sitting, these measurements don't include his fluffy hair which adds another 2 inches/5 cm.
Rudi Ruffles is a very bright and colourful little bear, he isn't very big but he makes up for it with a huge personality. He's small enough to fit into a pocket or handbag just in case you need a fix of 'happy teddy bear' while you are out and about.
Rudi Ruffles is made from several different mohairs, he's mainly a fairly short and tufty bright red German mohair, his face is a very long and feathery mohair hand dyed pale yellow, his tummy and the underside of his tail are a very soft sky blue faux fur with Jaguar-like rosettes in black, the backs of his ears are a much longer, fluffy mohair that Barbara has hand-dyed bright blue while the fronts of the ears are a shorter mohair also dyed bright blue. The top of his head is a longish faux fur in colourful rainbow bands. Rudi Ruffles has bright red German wool felt paw pads match his mohair beautifully.
Rudi Ruffles has beautiful, hand painted eyes with eyelids, a splendid nose embroidered from individual threads to compliment his colouring and he has a sweet, friendly smile. Rudi Ruffles is stuffed with polyester stuffing and glass beads which give him a little extra weight and make him a little more cuddly.
Rudi Ruffles is a happy and sweet teddy bear. He wants to see you smiling and laughing, to share in your adventures and misadventures, to enjoy every moment of your company.
As with all our bears Rudi Ruffles is not a toy, he is an adult collectable and unsuitable for children under 14.
