Alfredo Buttercup, a comical yet elegant yellow and white, one of a kind artist teddy bear in stunning hand dyed mohair by Barbara-Ann Bears

Alfredo Buttercup stands 17 inches (43 cm) tall and is 13 inches (33 cm) sitting.

Alfredo Buttercup is quite a tall and elegant bear, a beautiful bear of happy sunny colours. Alfredo is a bear who loves to wander across the meadows in springtime, he holds a great affection for cows and sheep and can converse with them fluently in their own language, however his only question is 'Have you seen any buttercups?" A 'mooo' or a 'baaaa' will tell him exactly where to find them and then he'll spend the day laying on his back twirling a buttercup under his chin, proving just how much he loves butter, he loves butter quite a lot...

Alfredo Buttercup is mostly made from a beautiful, long and straggly German mohair that Barbara has hand-dyed in sunny shades of yellow and gold. His face, tummy, the fronts of his ears and the underside of his tail are a very long, fluffy and luxurious white mohair. Alfredo has hand dyed mini-bear mohair paw pads that match his mohair perfectly, it's the first time we have used this fabric for paw pads.

Alfredo Buttercup's beautiful glass eyes were hand painted to match his colouring and have eyelids. He has the most splendid, embroidered nose that captures the colours of his eyes and mohair and that warm, comical expression. Alfredo is stuffed with plastic pellets and polyester stuffing making him a little more cuddly and maybe heavier than you might expect.

Alfredo Buttercup is a friendly and very happy bear, his sunny yellow and white colouring and comical expression will always bring a smile to your face, he's not a bear you can take too seriously but he is a bear you can easily fall in love with.

Alfredo Buttercup is the first of his design, his pattern is called 'Konk' referring to his rather large nose, we think this gives him bags of extra character, he thinks it gives him the ability to sniff out butter, jam, clotted cream and scones, for his favourite cream tea, over incredible distances.
