Herbert the Merry Rodent Cuddler stands 7 inches (18 cm) tall and is 5 inches (13 cm) sitting.
Herbert the Merry Rodent Cuddler is a joyful and sweet fellow. He has a great fondness for small rodents such as mice, voles and chipmunks and by building up a friendship with them, through stealing and redistributing your biscuits, he is able to cuddle small rodents quite merrily. We have just made him a rodent friend called Malcolm to cuddle, you can see him in the last photo and is also available to buy.
Herbert is mostly made from two very short and stubbly mohairs, some is jade and some a deep coral, the top and back of his head is a short and fluffy peach mohair, his tummy a longer fluffy turquoise mohair and his face and the backs of his ears are a very long blond mohair. It's much easier to look at the photos than read the description. Herbert has hand-dyed velvet paw pads that compliment his mohair perfectly.
Herbert has beautiful hand painted slightly sparkling glass eyes (they were painted to complement his mohair) with eyelids, a wonderful nose embroidered with individual threads to match his mohair and a sweet and cheerful smile. He is stuffed with glass beads and polyester stuffing to make him a little heavier and more cuddly.
Herbert the Merry Rodent Cuddler is a sweet and comical little bear, a bear with the warmest and most loving of personalities, we hope you love him as much as we do.
Herbert the Merry Rodent Cuddler is the first of his design, his pattern was drawn out on the back or our tax return calculations, he could have been called Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs, but we decided to use the initials (HMRC) in a more creative way.
