Mr. Makepeace is a charming and traditional mohair artist bear by Barbara Ann Bears of the same design as the one we made for Downton Abbey

Mr. Makepeace stands 11 inches/28 cm tall and is 8 inches/21 cm sitting.

Mr. Makepeace is a very well proportioned traditional teddy bear, he's not too stuffy, he's a friendly chap with a warm and loving expression. He is from the same design as Marigold's teddy that we made for the TV series Downton Abbey, he has famous relatives...

Mr. Makepeace is made from a beautiful antique gold, straight pile, dense English mohair. He has German wool-felt paw pads and vintage boot buttons for eyes. He has a carefully embroidered nose and a sweet smile. He is stuffed with polyester stuffing and plastic pellets, which gives him a more cuddly and soft feel.

Mr. Makepeace is a sweet little bear, a proper little teddy in the Edwardian style, his expression more like a loving boy than a dignified adult, he's a bear who needs to be cherished and loved.
