Oscar is a laid-back bear, a bear of the autumn, coloured like a walk through a forest on a misty day, with moist fallen leaves in every shade of orange and terracotta underfoot and grey fingers of fog stretching between the trees, which gently fade as they recede in its embrace. It's the time of year when everything slows down to a comfortable relaxing pace, he's never going to be demanding or attention seeking, he's happy to sit around, waiting in the most unobtrusive way for a hug or a cuddle, that would really make his day.

Oscar is mostly made from a wonderful, medium length, gently distressed mohair hand dyed in glorious autumnal colours, there are splashes of orange, brown, grey and amber. His face, tummy, the underside of his tail and the backs of his ears are a very long and luxuriously fluffy, soft fawn coloured mohair while the fronts of his ears a similar mohair in cream. Oscar has fawn coloured German wool felt paw pads which compliment his mohair beautifully.

Oscar has beautiful, sparkling, multi coloured, hand painted eyes with eyelids, a splendid nose embroidered from individual threads to match his mohair and a gentle, friendly smile. Oscar is stuffed with polyester stuffing and plastic pellets which give him quite a little extra weight and make him a little more flexible and cuddly.

We hope you like Oscar, he has a great presence and personality, there's something a little dreamy about him, he's not garish or 'out there', he's a gentle teddy who is very easy to get along with.
