Rambling Joe stands 10.5 inches (26 cm) tall and is 8 inches (20 cm) sitting.
Rambling Joe is a bear of beautiful harmonious browns, he's a bear of the woods and forests where he can walk almost unseen, in fact if it wasn't for his whistling you'd hardly know he was there at all. He loves to be immersed in nature, close to the deer and woodpeckers, he can tell you the names of the trees, the flowers and the fungi (in teddy bear language of course), he can whistle the song of many birds, owls being his favourites. Rambling Joe would love to tell you all about the forests, he's a sweet teddy bear who has so much to give.
Rambling Joe is made from a gorgeous, long, wildly tousled mohair that Barbara has dyed in many soft, natural shades of brown. Joe's hand-dyed velvet paw pads were dyed at the same time as his mohair and thus match it perfectly. He is a very well coordinated and naturally coloured bear.
Joe has beautiful hand painted glass eyes with hand coloured eyelids, a splendid nose embroidered with individual threads to complement his mohair and a broad and cheerful smile. He is stuffed with plastic pellets and polyester stuffing to make him a little heavier and more cuddly.
Rambling Joe has the warmest and most loving of personalities, he would love to be taken out in the forests to tell you all about the plants and animals that live there, or you could sit him in front of one of Sir David Attenborough's wonderful documentaries and watch Joe melt in pleasure.
