Vincent is an elegant and charming, one of a kind, traditional artist teddy bear by Barbara Ann Bears in wonderful crimson English mohair

Vincent stands 14 inches/36cm tall and is 10.5 inches/26 cm sitting.

Vincent is a very sweet and elegant, traditional teddy bear, he has a very gentle and loving expression and seems to yearn for hugs. He was designed to be proportioned like the very earliest teddy bears, with longer arms, a long snout and to be quite bear-like, not too cute but still very lovable. Vincent is a beautiful rich and deep shade of red, it would make him a great Christmas bear but really he's a bear who is great all year round.

Vincent is made from a beautiful, crimson English mohair which we recently bought from an old bear making friend, we were very lucky to get hold of it, it's getting rarer and rarer. English mohair had a wonderful, strong texture, it's sad that so little of it remains. Vincent has matching burgundy Ultrasuede paw pads that coordinate very well with his mohair and he has boot buttons for eyes, just like the really old teddy bears. He has a carefully embroidered nose, which has a burgundy base and is over-sewn in dark brown so that the burgundy just shows through in a few places, it's just a hint but it makes a difference and as you can see Vincent has a very sweet smile. He is stuffed with polyester stuffing and plastic pellets, which gives him a more cuddly and soft feel.

Vincent is a sweet bear, a bear who is always ready for a hug. He loves to wander the woods collecting mistletoe and holly and when he comes back home cold and tired a good cuddle is all he needs, although you have to be careful with his use of the mistletoe...
