First Rate Human, a greeting card for the times when you want to congratulate someone
The committee has adjudicated and has issued you the award ‘First Rate Human’ While in a nearby garden Mrs McGillypepper asks, with a certain amount of irritation, “Who’s pinched all my bloomin’ flowers?!!”
Sometimes you may want to congratulate someone for a special achievement, for being particularly kind or just for being them, because they're great. Sometimes you may just want to say "Don't worry, you're doing OK" to give them a little boost. This card might help in many situations, maybe even if you know someone who has had all there red flowers stolen...
It features a bear, a ginger and white cat, a rather flamboyant bird flying overhead, a stripy alien and a cute little furry thing... things can just be things, they don't need to be defined.
This is a folded greeting card measuring 5x7 inches (13 x 18 cm) drawn by Andy Cunningham (me) with ink pens and fine coloured pencils, then printed at home, near the sea in England. I can print it on white or cream coloured heavyweight card.
The inside is left blank for your own message.
It comes in a sealed cellophane envelope to protect it from the elements and a stiff card envelope.
I drew this card on 12th February 2019 it was drawn as a Valentine's Card but took on a life of its own, maybe something better.
