He's still a lively and chirpy chap and he has a great sense of humour, he'll never lose his sense of humour. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eRobbie was very popular at the time, the teddy bear world had seen nothing quite like him, we made him in several different mohairs although there weren't many brown Robbies. We think he dates back to the early to mid-1990s, back in the early days when we were young, fit and beautiful, when one of us had brown hair and the other had hair...where did it all go? \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eRobbie is made from a beautiful, distressed, brown English mohair, we used to love using English mohair, it had such a strong texture, it was made using looms dating back to the early 1900s, since the birth of the teddy bear, sadly the mill that wove the mohair closed long ago and 'they don't make it like that anymore' . Robbie has brown, German wool felt paw pads and black, glass, spherical eyes, these catch the light from any angle so he always has a cheeky twinkle in his eye. Robbie has a marvellous nose and a cheeky smile. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eRodney is mostly stuffed with polyester stuffing, he has plastic pellets in his tummy which allow him to be more poseable and make him more cuddly. It's much, much easier to look at the photos than understand the description, you'll just end up as confused reading as I was writing it. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eShe has hand dyed velvet paw pads, large, beautiful, sparkling, hand painted, glass eyes with eyelids, a huge, carefully embroidered nose that incorporates all the colours of her mohair and that broad, cheeky smile. Borodin has dark brown German wool felt paw pads which compliment his colouring perfectly.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eBorodin has tiny pale brown glass eyes, a broad nose embroidered from individual threads to match his mohair (one of our first bears to feature this) and a resolutely grumpy expression. We think Hubert has turned out very well, he's obviously a bear who likes his honey...and his cakes, his biscuits and scones, and... well, let's just say that he's a very 'solid' bear. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eHubert is made from a beautiful antique gold, straight pile, dense English mohair. He has beige wool felt paw pads and large beguiling eyes, these were painted in colours to match his mohair.
