Benjamin Bloom is a wonderfully happy and gorgeously green and yellow, one of a kind artist teddy bear by Barbara-Ann Bears in long and fluffy hand dyed mohair
Benjamin Bloom stands 10 inches/25cm tall and is 7.5 inches/19 cm sitting.
Benjamin Bloom is a delightful bear, he has a sweet character, but for some reason he looks a little concerned about something. We don't design bears to look concerned they just end up that way, we don't even know why he looks concerned, it could be that he's worried about the state of the world, or that he isn't getting enough cuddles, or he's just worried about the lack of cakes in his vicinity.
Benjamin Bloom is mostly made from a long distressed tousled mohair which Barbara has dyed in wonderful shades of lime and emerald green, amber, orange, yellow, turquoise and cream. His face is hand dyed yellow mohair while his tummy, the underside of his tail and the fronts of his ears a longer distresses mohair, dyed in a soft buttery yellow and the top of Benjamin's head is a long fluffy mohair hand dyed yellow with a green backcloth, it's almost like we had lots of left over bits of similarly coloured mohair and threw them altogether to see what happened . Benjamin has hand dyed velvet paw pads which compliment his mohair beautifully.
Benjamin Bloom has beautiful, hand painted eyes with hand coloured eyelids, a splendid nose embroidered from individual threads to complement his colouring and he has a sweet, friendly smile. Benjamin is stuffed with polyester stuffing and plastic pellets which give him a little extra weight and make him a little more cuddly.
When you're in the depths of winter Benjamin Bloom will help you look forward to the fresh green sprouts of spring, in fact he'll do that all year long. Benjamin is a slightly bemused teddy bear who needs a little love and a few cuddles...oh, and some cake, which will hopefully put a beaming smile on his face.

As with all our bears Benjamin Bloom is not a toy, he is an adult collectable and unsuitable for children under 14.
