Cardamon is a gentle, happy teddy bear, a beautifully coloured one of a kind, hand dyed mohair artist bear by Barbara-Ann Bears

Cardamon stands 9.5 inches/24 cm tall cm tall and is 7 inches/18 cm sitting.

Cardamon is a calm, quietly reflective teddy bear, he doesn't want to make a fuss, he's happy to sit somewhere and hope that someone will eventually see him and give him a hug. Once hugged he will be a faithful companion, always ready to sit and listen, never to criticise or complain, just the sort of friend to help you through troubled (and untroubled) times.

Cardamon is mainly made from a fairly short, dense mohair that Barbara has hand dyed in soft natural colours, there are splashes of green, gold, amber and pink, his tummy and the underside of his tail are a much longer, twirly cream coloured mohair, and his face the fronts of his ears are a long and fluffy blonde mohair with a pale beige backing. Cardamon has hand-dyed velvet paw pads which coordinate with his colouring beautifully.

Cardamon has beautiful hand painted eyes with hand coloured eyelids, a nose embroidered from individual threads to complement his colouring and he has a huge, friendly smile. Cardamon is stuffed with polyester stuffing and plastic pellets which give him a little extra weight and make him a little more cuddly.

Cardamon is a very happy teddy bear, he has many tales to tell about his days sitting in large dusty spice halls, where people would argue whether he should be called Cardamom, Cardamum or Cardamon. "It's all the same to me" he'd say "as long as you realise that I'm beautifully sweet with a hint of delicious spiciness".

We will enclose photos with Cardamon and we are happy to put in a greetings card and gift tags, maybe a birthday card or one for another occasion, you can choose one from our greetings card page and let us know which card you would like.

As with all our bears, Cardamon is not a toy, he is an adult collectible and unsuitable for children under 14
