Murdo The Pocket Yeti is an adorably cute little artist bear/yeti in wildly curly tipped mohair by Barbara-Ann Bears
Murdo The Pocket Yeti stands just 7 inches(18 cm) tall and is 5.5 inches (14 cm) sitting.
Murdo is a wild and shaggy chap, a bear who loves to climb the tallest mountains, well that's what he'll tell you, to walk the snow covered Himalayan peaks where his footprints have intrigued explorers for generations. But, well, just look at him, you can see he's never been further than the bottom of the garden Still he claims to be a yeti rather than a teddy bear and if you pack him in your pocket or bag he'll go anywhere you go, even to the heights of the Himalayas (please send a photo if he does make it there).
Murdo is made from the most wonderful, wildly curly brown tipped cream mohair, with a slightly warmer cream backcloth. Murdo has cream coloured German wool felt paw pads that blend with his mohair perfectly.
Murdo The Pocket Yeti has black boot button eyes, like the old teddy bears. He has a carefully embroidered nose, sewn from individual threads to match the colouring of his mohair, and a warm beaming smile which gives him that puppy dog 'please pick me up and love me' expression. He is stuffed with glass beads and polyester stuffing to make him a little heavier and more cuddly, he is quite heavy for such a little chap.
Murdo is very happy to sit at home, quietly watching TV with you (travel and wildlife programmes are his favourites), he might try to persuade you to take up mountaineering, but just remind him that there are no cakes in the mountains and he'll soon change his tune...'maybe an adventurous trip to the shops then?'
As with all our bears Murdo The Pocket Yeti is not a toy, he is an adult collectible and unsuitable for children under 14
