Cuddy is a very sweet, 17 inch traditional teddy bear made from wonderful German mohair by Barbara Ann Bears
Cuddy is the first bear in an edition of five.
Cuddy stands 17 inches/ 43 cm tall and is 13 inches/ 33 cm sitting.
Cuddy is a soft and cuddly traditional bear, he has a very gentle, innocent character, he seems a little uncertain of what's going on around him and needs some reassurance and there's only one way to reassure a teddy bear and that's through lots of love and cuddles. If you are the sort of person who likes to hug and cuddle teddy bears then Cuddy could be the perfect bear for you.
Cuddy is the first of his design, but his design was created quite a long time ago. We just found his pattern among our files of patterns (after 35 years we've got hundreds of patterns) and wondered why we've never made a bear from it, and now we have, and he's a very nice bear too.
Cuddy is made from a gorgeous, quite long and softly tousled mohair, which is a rich army green. Cuddy has matching vintage suedette paw pads and black boot buttons for eyes, like the antique teddy bears. Cuddy has a sweet nose carefully embroidered with brown cotton thread and a relaxed and demure expression, he's quite an old fashioned kind of bear.
Cuddy is stuffed with a mixture of polyester stuffing and plastic pellets, giving him a cuddly and relaxed demeanour, comfortable and easy to pose and hug. As with all our bears he is 5-way jointed.
Cuddy is a sweet and gentle bear, he needs a quiet loving home where he will be appreciated and hugged.
