Denzel is a cheerfully comical and contagiously friendly, one of a kind, vintage artist teddy bear made from wonderful mohair by Barbara-Bears.
Denzel stands 10 inches/25 cm tall and he is 7.5 inches/19 cm sitting.
Denzel is a funny and very friendly bear, he just wants to make you happy. We think we made him around the year 2000, he has one of our rare and quite expensive jaggedy edged swing tickets which gives us a clue to his age. Denzel says his fur is 'Highland Cow coloured' or even 'Mammoth coloured' the sort of fur that would see him through the coldest winter or even an ice age.
Denzel is mostly made from a sumptuous, very dense, soft and twirly, brown tipped ginger mohair, his tummy is a similarly coloured soft and feathery mohair. He has dark brown ultrasuede pads which go with his mohair very well.
Denzel has beautiful translucent amber glass eyes with eyelids, a splendid nose embroidered from individual threads that tie in with his colours and a very happy and hopeful expression, the sort of expression that seems to be asking for cake. Denzel is stuffed with plastic pellets and polyester stuffing that give him a little extra weight and allow him to be posed in a variety of positions.
Denzel is a gentle, happy and humorous bear, he's quite a stout little chap with an expression that suggests he is very content with life and will bring a sense of calm to all who see him, a bear who is very easy to live with.
