Otis is a sweet and very friendly, one of a kind, artist teddy bear in beautiful long pearl coloured mohair by Barbara-Ann Bears

Otis stands 11 inches/28 cm tall and he is 8 inches/20 cm sitting. 

Otis is a sweet and loving teddy bear. He says he's a bear of the frozen north, a bear who walks the great expanses of tundra all winter with only the Northern Lights to illuminate his way on his relentless search for cake. As you may have guessed there aren't many cakes in the frozen north, so Otis has developed a remarkable sense of smell, he says he can smell a cake over 200 miles away, although that's a bit too far away for a little teddy bear to walk. So Otis has decided it would be better to live in a land where cake was more plentiful, where he could even just sit and wait for cake to be brought to him, that's the sort of home he looking for, maybe you can help, just don't let him mess up his beautiful fur. 

Otis is made from a sumptuous, long, very dense, scruffily twirly, nearly white mohair and he has matching pale cream coloured German wool felt paw pads.

Otis has beautiful hand painted, gently twinkling glass eyes with eyelids, a splendidly embroidered nose and a happy, hopeful expression, the sort of expression that seems to be asking for a big hug (or it could be cake). Otis is stuffed with plastic pellets, glass beads and polyester stuffing that give him a little extra weight and allow him to be posed in a variety of positions.

Otis is a gentle, humorous bear, he has that expression that suggests he is in need of hugs and cuddles, a bear who is very easy to live with but will always tug at your heartstrings, maybe he'll tug them hard enough for you to bring him some cake, he'd like that.

Otis is the first of his design, we hope you like him. He was designed to have the look of a wandering beary teddy bear, with a smidgeon of humour thrown in, there's always got to be a smidgeon of humour hasn't there?
