Barbara Ann Bears, Andy Near The Sea, Wild but Gorgeous... who are we?

We are Barbara and Andy Cunningham and this is the home for Barbara Ann Bears made near the sea in beautiful South West Scotland.
Barbara-Ann Bears started in 1990, we've won awards and they've been on TV (Marigold's teddy bear in Downton Abbey was made by us). You will also find our home made 'Andy Near The Sea' greeting cards here.

Barbara-Ann Bears, Artist Teddy Bears

Kingsley Greenacre is a very sweet and cuddly one of a kind traditional artist teddy bear by Barbara Ann Bears in bottle green mohair he is 13 inches/33cm tall. Kingsley Greenacre is made from a beautiful, distressed bottle green German mohair and he has German wool-felt paw pads that coordinate very well with his mohair. Kingsley has boot buttons for eyes, just like the really old teddy bears. He has a carefully embroidered nose and a sweet smile.

Slim Tim Tittlemouse is a scruffy and dishevelled traditional one of a kind artist bear in German mohair by Barbara Ann Bears Slim Tim Tittlemouse is 11 inches/28 cm tall and is 7.5 inches/22 cm sitting. Slim Tim Tittlemouse is a tribute to Little Tommy Tittlemouse who sits in the V&A Museum in London, although Slim Tim is twice the size of Little Tommy. He's been made to look very old and well loved, he might look grubby but he's a clean bear, he's just been rubbed with a soft sketching pencil.
