Cardhu is a sweet and very friendly, one of a kind, artist teddy bear in beautiful mohair by Barbara-Ann Bears
Cardhu stands 7.5 inches/19 cm tall and he is 6 inches/15 cm sitting.
Cardhu is a beautifully coloured, sweet and loving teddy bear. Cardhu is a very friendly and undemanding bear, he is very happy to sit in a comfy chair or even on a shelf and wait for a cake to arrive, well to be truthful he'd prefer a cake and a cup of tea, and why not a nice big fruit scone covered in strawberry jam and clotted cream, maybe a couple of sandwiches and a few biscuits would help too, he's not a fussy chap, he'll eat just about anything.
Cardhu is made from a gorgeous dense and wavy, antique gold German mohair, while his face, the fronts of his ears and the underside of his tail are a sumptuous, long, very dense, soft and twirly, brown tipped gold mohair. Cardhu has rich brown German wool felt paw pads.
Cardhu has beautiful hand painted, twinkling, glass eyes with hand coloured eyelids, a splendid nose embroidered from individual threads that tie in with his colours and a happy, hopeful expression, the sort of expression that seems to be asking for a big hug (or it could be cake). Cardhu is stuffed with plastic pellets and polyester stuffing that give him a little extra weight and allow him to be posed in a variety of positions.
Cardhu is a gentle, humorous bear, he has that expression that suggests he is in need of hugs and cuddles (or cake), a bear who is very easy to live with but will always tug at your heartstrings.
Cardhu is the first of his design, we hope you like him.
