Gillespie is a magnificent, richly colourful one of a kind, artist teddy bear in fabulous faux fur & mohair by Barbara-Ann Bears

Gillespie stands 19 inches (48 cm) tall and is 15 inches (38 cm) sitting, yes, he's quite a big teddy bear!

Gillespie is a fabulous teddy bear, a big colourful chap with a rather hopeful expression. He isn't a bear who likes to hurry, he takes life at his pace, he'll try and get you to take life easy too, not to fret and take everything in your stride. He has a very loving personality, loves a hug and cuddle and is good company, he would love to listen to your stories.

Gillespie is mostly made from a very exciting faux fur, although it's just one piece of fabric it looks like a patchwork, there's green, deep red, gold, white and black, it's a very interesting fabric, we marvel at how they make it. His face, the fronts of his ears and the underside of his tail are a very long and fluffy white mohair. Nathaniel has coordinating green Ultrasuede paw pads which match the green of his fur perfectly.

Gillespie has large, beautiful, glass eyes with eyelids which were painted to match his colouring. He has a carefully embroidered nose that incorporates all of his colours and a broad, cheerful smile. He is stuffed with plastic pellets and polyester stuffing making him a little more cuddly and loveable. He's a very happy, friendly and cuddly bear, quite heavy too.

Gillespie is a magnificent bear, a bear with a deep, soulful personality, a bear you can talk to and know that he is listening. He has a wonderful presence, he seems to say 'come over and hug me' and that might be something you find hard to resist.

We will enclose photos with Gillespie and we are happy to put in a greetings card and gift tags, maybe a birthday card or one for another occasion, you can choose one from our greetings card page and let us know which card you would like.

As with all our bears Gillespie is not a toy, he is an adult collectable and unsuitable for children under 14.
