Alice Lovedoodle is a humorous and whimsical one of a kind artist hare or rabbit in printed linen, mohair and faux fur by Barbara Ann Bears
Alice Lovedoodle stands 10 inches( 25 cm) tall and is 8.5 inches (22 cm) sitting, her ears are 9 inches (23 cm) across the top.
Alice Lovedoodle is a certainly a character, she's very sweet with her Japanese paper chrysanthemum and linen print which has a mixture of motifs, there are cats and fish, butterflies, mushrooms and flowers. We're not sure if she's a rabbit or a hare, you can decide, we just hope that you love her.
Alice Lovedoodle is made from several different pieces of fabric, she's mostly made from a printed linen that we have described above, in black and grey against an off-white, meringue-coloured background. The top of her head, her body and the fronts of her ears are made from a wildly tousled (ratinee) wolfy grey coloured mohair, her tail is made from a very long and fluffy faux fur which is banded with dark brown, pale beige and coffee brown. Alice has black, German wool felt paw pads which compliment her colouring beautifully.
Alice Lovedoodle has old glass eyes, a sweet, little pink nose and a mischievous grin, she is stuffed with glass beads, plastic pellets and polyester stuffing to make her a little heavier and more cuddly. Alice's nose colour was chosen to match the beautiful Japanese paper chrysanthemum which she wears proudly in her right ear.
Alice's arms are very long and flexible and with her big feet can give the impression that she is skiing or meditating. She can stand for quite a while and can sit down almost indefinitely but it took quite a long time to get her to balance on one foot and one toe and she managed this for only about five seconds, just long enough to take a photo and then catch her.
Alice Lovedoodle is a wild and comical arty hare (or rabbit), a character who looks like she's led a very interesting life and has just leapt onto Etsy in search of a comfortable home where she can spill the beans, when she does tell you we'd love to hear back from you.
