Bruno Pinehandle is both wild and friendly, a very shaggy brown bear with a sweet face and a love of the great world outdoors. He likes to think of himself as an intrepid 'go anywhere bear', a bear that climbs mountains, swims across lakes, fights off packs of wolves and travels by mooseback, but ask him if he wants to out for a walk and he'll be all "nah, looks a bit cloudy, might rain later, I'll stay in and watch the wilderness on TV, isn't David Attenborough good, and at his age!"
Bruno is mostly made from a long dark brown mohair, with an even longer dark brown mohair with black tipping used for his tummy, the fronts of his ears and the underside of his tail, it's quite subtle but you'll see the different mohairs if you look closely. Bruno has dark brown wool felt paw pads, he's a very well coordinated and naturally coloured bear.
Bruno Pinehandle has beautiful hand painted glass eyes with hand coloured eyelids, a splendid nose embroidered in black cotton and a broad and cheerful smile. He is stuffed with plastic pellets and polyester stuffing to make him a little heavier and more cuddly.
Bruno Pinehandle is a bear of wonderful woody colours with the warmest and most loving of personalities, despite his wild appearance he is quite restrained and thoughtful, he could be thinking how lucky he is to have a warm, loving home and not have to go out to face the wilderness or even the garden.
Bruno is the first of his design so we hope you like him, being dark brown he's quite hard to see in the photos, he's a very bearlike teddy
