Donovan is an endearingly sweet and gentle, beautifully coloured, one of a kind, hand dyed mohair artist bear by Barbara-Ann Bears

Donovan stands 10 inches( 25 cm) tall and is 7.5 inches (19 cm) sitting.

Donovan is a very sweet teddy bear, he is a beautifully coloured bear, he manages to capture almost every colour in the rainbow in a rich and natural way. Donovan is a little on the podgy side, he loves his honey and cake and rarely gets any exercise, he's a bear who just wants to settle down, watch a film, read a book or just gaze aimlessly into space waiting patiently for food to be brought to him and for a little cuddle once in a while.

Donovan is mostly made from a beautiful piece of hand dyed mohair, a fairly short, straight pile mohair hand dyed with splashes of almost every colour you can imagine, deep blue, rich reds, amber, green, gold, magenta and lilac. His body is a longer, slightly wavy mohair dyed in a deep sunny yellow with a few splashes of pink and his face, the backs of his ears and the top of his tail are a much longer, fluffy, twirly mohair hand dyed in as many colours as his main mohair. His velvet paw pads have been hand-dyed to complement his mohair.

Donovan's beautiful eyes were hand painted to match his mohair as were his hand coloured eyelids. His nose was embroidered with individual threads to match his colouring and he has a sweet and cheerful smile. Donovan is stuffed with plastic pellets, glass beads and polyester stuffing which make him quite a heavy and cuddly chap.

Donovan is a calm and charming bear, a gentle soul in need of a loving home, he has a lovely warm smile and will be a great companion.
