Erskine is a gently colourful, calm and friendly, one of a kind, artist teddy bear made in beautiful German mohairs by Barbara-Bears

Erskine stands 8.3/4 inches( 22 cm) tall and he is 6.5 inches (16 cm) sitting.

Erskine is a friendly bear, he has a long snout and quite a large tummy. A long snout is particularly useful when looking for food and Erskine's tummy is proof that he is particularly good at finding food. He gives the impression that he is quite a slow-moving ponderous bear, a bear who is very happy to sit around with you all day. If you are eating he might occasionally look up at you with the sweetest and most hopeful expression 'please will you save a little bit for me?'

Erskine is mostly made from a fairly long, shaggy deep red mohair, just about the colour of a good red wine, his face, tummy, the fronts of his ears and the underside of his tail are a long feathery, cream mohair tipped with brown. Erskine has dark blue wool felt paw pads which compliment his mohair perfectly.

Erskine has quite small yet beautiful glass eyes (with eyelids) which were painted to match his colouring and a splendid nose embroidered from individual threads that also tie in with his colours. Erskine has a gentle smile and a very sweet and hopeful expression. Erskine is stuffed with glass beads, plastic pellets and polyester stuffing that give him a little extra weight and allow him to be posed in a variety of positions.

Erskine is a happy and humorous bear, he's good company and as long as you can keep a steady supply of food coming he will be your best friend forever. He isn't the biggest bear in the world but he tries to make up for it with his personality and his weight...

Erskine is the first of his design, he was designed to be quite a 'beary' teddy bear with a slightly longer snout and a bearlike stance, we hope you like him.

As with all our bears Erskine is not a toy, he is an adult collectable and unsuitable for children under 14.
