Fernando is a magnificent, colourful one of a kind, artist teddy bear in fabulous faux fur and gorgeous mohair by Barbara-Ann Bears

Fernando stands 19 inches (48 cm) tall and is 14 inches (36 cm) sitting.

Fernando is a fabulous teddy bear. He is very elegant and dignified yet very friendly and approachable, definitely a bear you can hug. He likes to sit outside on starry nights, he might mention a time when he could hear drums and bugle calls, a time when he used to play his guitar around a campfire and you might find yourself singing a song to him 'Can you hear the drums Fernando?...'

Fernando is mostly made from a very exciting faux fur, it gives the impression of being in patches but is, in fact, a continuous piece (we have no idea how they make it, it's all magic to us), the different colours are also of differing lengths, the pink and black are quite long, while the gold tipped white and the gold and white streaked black are much longer. The different colours are arranged in irregular patches, you could spend a long time analysing how they are arranged and wondering how it was made. His face, his tummy and the underside of his tail are a very long and feathery blond mohair. Fernando has coordinating paw pads made from black German wool felt.

Fernando has large, beautiful, glass eyes (with eyelids) which were coloured to match his colouring. He has a carefully embroidered nose that incorporates all of his colours and a broad, cheerful smile. He is stuffed with plastic pellets and polyester stuffing making him a little more cuddly and loveable. He's a very happy, friendly and cuddly bear.

Fernando is a magnificent bear, a bear with a deep, soulful personality, a bear you can talk to and know that he is listening. He has a wonderful presence, he seems to say 'come over and hug me' and that might be something you find hard to resist.

As with all our bears Fernando is not a toy, he is an adult collectable and unsuitable for children under 14.
