Franklin Fizziwig is a kooky, funky and funny one of a kind artist bear in hand-dyed mohair and faux fur by Barbara Ann Bears
Franklin Fizziwig stands 9.5 inches/26 cm tall and is 7 inches/18 cm sitting, this doesn't include his plumes of wildly fluffy hair which add an extra 3.5 inches (9 cm).
Franklin Fizziwig is a sweet and artistic bear, he loves to sit among the flowers in the garden watching the bees and trying to get them to sing a memorable tune rather than just buzzing aimlessly. He's quite flamboyant with his plume of outrageous twizzling hair. His huge beaming grin will never leave his face, he's a bear of constant happiness and fun, he wants to see you smiling and laughing.
Franklin Fizziwig is made from several different pieces of fabric, he's mostly made from a fairly sparse medium length mohair that Barbara has dyed in gentle shades of rose, mauve and beige . His tummy and the underside of his tail are all made from a slightly longer mohair dyed a soft pineapple yellow. His face and the fronts of his ears are a much longer fluffy mohair hand dyed in shades of blue and green, and crowning it all is a piece of very long soft pink faux fur. Franklin has hand dyed velvet paw pads which complement his colouring beautifully.
Franklin Fizziwig has beautiful, hand painted glass eyes (painted to match his colours) with hand coloured eyelids, an impressive nose embroidered from individual threads to match his colouring and a beaming smile, he is stuffed with glass beads, plastic pellets and polyester stuffing to make him a little heavier and more cuddly.
Franklin Fizziwig is a wild and colourful arty teddy bear with a very sweet personality. He could give the appearance of being quite garish but his gentle personality means that he is an easy and interesting bear to live with, he will never cause any trouble, he just wants to make people happy.
