Griselda is both wild and cute, a gently colourful & loveable, one of a kind, hand dyed mohair artist bear by Barbara-Ann Bears, she epitomises 'Wild But Gorgeous'

Griselda stands 15 inches (38 cm) tall and is 11 inches (28 cm) sitting, this doesn't include her beautiful blond and cream hair which adds another 3 inches (8 cm).

Griselda is a gentle teddy bear, there is a little wildness in her but this is mainly contained within her long fluffy double mane. Griselda has a sweet personality, she might appear a little sad but she's just thinking and reflecting, teddy bears often think about their new forever home, will it be warm and cosy, will there be lots of new friends to make, will there be enough cake? Griselda has a nose that is designed for sniffing out freshly baked cakes, she can smell a cake over two miles away, a bit like a shark is with blood, although of course she's far more friendly and cuddly.

Griselda is mainly made from a fairly long and very tousled mohair which Barbara has hand dyed in beautifully soft shades of pink, purple, cream and peach, down the centre of her head she has a double mane, two pieces of mohair sewn in side by side, each is very long and fluffy, one side being a golden blond and the other a delicate shade of pink, which together form a rather glamorous mohawk hairstyle.

Griselda has dusky rose coloured Alcantara paw pads which compliment her colours superbly, she has beautiful hand painted eyes with eyelids, a splendid nose embroidered from individual threads to match her colouring and a slightly forlorn expression. She is stuffed with polyester stuffing and plastic pellets which give her a little extra weight and make her a little more cuddly. As with all our bears, Griselda is 5-way jointed.

Griselda is a very sweet teddy bear in need of a little love and understanding, oh, and cake of course. She might appear a little sad but we think a regular supply of cake will bring forth smiles and general glee, it might not show on the outside but you know she'll be bubbling over with joy inside.
