Horace Honk is not the most sensible of bears, a comical one of a kind artist bear in hand dyed mohair and faux fur by Barbara Ann Bears

Horace Honk stands 13 inches( 33 cm) tall and is 10 inches (25 cm) sitting, this doesn't include his plumes of hair which add another 3 inches/ 7.5cm.

Horace Honk is the first of his design. He is a sweet and colourful chap, as you can see he's not very serious or sensible, he was designed to put a smile on your face or even make you laugh. There are days when you need an innocent happy face, someone who doesn't comment, or judge, someone who will sit quietly and listen and put things in perspective.

Horace Honk is made from several different pieces of fabric, he's mostly made from a medium length, fairly dense, straight pile mohair that Barbara has dyed in a subtle blend of pale yellow, and orange with a few splashes of baby pink. His face and the backs of his ears are a very long black-tipped white mohair, the top of his head is a dense white faux fur from which sprouts plumes of long black faux fur and his tummy the underside of his tail are a very dense and soft, pink animal print, we call it the 'pink panther fabric', it's so soft that you might find yourself absent-mindedly stroking it for hours.

Horace Honk has hand dyed velvet paw pads which compliment his colouring perfectly. He has big, beautiful, sparkling, hand painted glass eyes, a wonderful nose embroidered from individual threads to match his colouring and a charming smile, he is stuffed with plastic pellets and polyester stuffing to make him a little heavier and more cuddly.

Horace Honk is a charming bear, a gangling, dangling, lanky bear of colour and style, a happy chap who just wants to bring a smile to your face and hopes just to receive an occasional hug in return, you hope you love him.

As with all our bears Horace Honk is not a toy, he is an adult collectable and unsuitable for children under 14.
