King Konk, a one of a kind, mohair and faux fur artist bear by Barbara-Ann Bears

Regular price £250.00

King Konk is an exotic, fun-loving and comical, one of a kind, artist bear by Barbara-Ann Bears in luxurious mohair and rather wild faux fur

King Konk stands 16 inches (40 cm) tall and is 12 inches (30 cm) sitting.

King Konk is a rather wild and playful chap, a teddy bear for those who like fun, colour and fluffiness. Despite his name he's not a regal bear, he's just a bear with a big nose, maybe the king of all the noses. He's definitely a character, very friendly but with a big dollop of mischief. Being a teddy bear he's happy to sit around, but he is always sitting around waiting for something to happen, ready to join in all the fun, climbing curtains, roller-skating around the kitchen, food fights, singing and dancing are all things he would love to do if he wasn't a teddy bear, well he can dream can't he?

King Konk is made from the most gorgeous and luxurious long faux fur, it looks like a patchwork but is one piece of fabric, areas of rose, cream, peach and pink are outlined in black and in some places banded with black, it's a sumptuous and fascinating fabric. His face, the fronts of his ears and the underside of his tail are a long cream mohair with a warmer backcloth and running down the top and back of his head head he has a mohawk in long and fluffy black mohair which is a perfect match for his faux fur. King Konk's paw pads are made from a wonderful cotton fabric which is covered in little monsters, which adds to his sense of fun and mischief.

King Konk has beautiful, large hand painted glass eyes with hand painted eyelids, a (ginormous) wonderfully embroidered nose, sewn from individual threads to match his colouring and he has a huge beaming smile. He is stuffed with plastic pellets and polyester stuffing to make him more poseable, a little heavier and more cuddly.

King Konk is a wild, friendly, mischievous, loving and playful bear, he's basically a lot of fun to have around and you might find it hard to resist a smile every time you look at him and frankly who wants to resist smiling? We hope you love him as much as we do :)

Just in case 'Konk' isn't a word that translates into different languages, it's a humorous name for a nose, usually a big nose, but maybe you've already guessed that.

We will enclose photos with King Konk and we are happy to put in a greetings card and gift tags, maybe a birthday card or one for another occasion, you can choose one from our greetings card page and let us know which card you would like.

As with all our bears, King Konk is not a toy, he is an adult collectible and unsuitable for children under 14
