Lonnie Puckleton is an endearingly sweet and gentle, beautifully coloured, one of a kind, hand dyed mohair artist bear by Barbara-Ann Bears

Lonnie stands 10 inches/25 cm tall and is 7.5 inches/18 cm sitting.

Lonnie Puckleton is a very sweet teddy bear, he is a beautifully coloured bear, his colours are like those of a wild moor, gentle natural colours, not brash and gaudy but interesting in a very subtle way.

Lonnie Puckleton is made from several pieces of hand dyed mohair, mainly a medium length, sparse mohair hand dyed with splashes of emerald, dusky rose, slate grey, peach, deep purple, blonde and lilac. His tummy is a longer, denser wavy mohair in dusky rose with a splash of lilac and his face the front of one ear and the back of the other, and the underside of his tail are made from a longer, scraggly mohair dyed in very pale lilac, pistachio and mauve. His hand dyed velvet paw pads were dyed at the same time as his mohair and therefore match it perfectly.

Lonnie Puckleton's beautiful eyes were hand painted to match his mohair as were his hand coloured eyelids. His nose was embroidered with individual threads to match his colouring and he has a beaming smile. Lonnie is stuffed with plastic pellets, glass beads and polyester stuffing to make him a little heavier and more cuddly.

Lonnie Puckleton is a calm and charming bear, a very happy sweet fellow who doesn't want to be the centre of attention, he wants to be discovered, for someone to say "You're a rather splendid chap aren't you", then he'll know he's found a true soulmate.
