Marvellous Maeve is a sweet and beautifully colourful, one of a kind artist bear, in gorgeous hand dyed mohair by Barbara-Ann Bears

Marvellous Maeve is quite a big bear, she stands 18.5 inches( 47 cm) tall and is 14 inches (35 cm) sitting.

Marvellous Maeve is a delightful and pretty bear with a very sweet personality. She is a little self conscious about her size, she thinks that she is too big to be pretty and that nobody will love her, that she'll be the girl who never gets asked to dance or invited out to see a film, we don't agree with her at all, she is a beautiful bear, with lovely colouring, a huge smile and captivating eyes, we're certain that someone will fall in love with her and never let her go.

Marvellous Maeve is mainly made from a long, twirly, straggly mohair that Barbara has dyed in gentle, pastel shades of pink and beige with the occasional splash of a vibrant magenta, her tummy and the underside of her tail are a very soft and fluffy, cream-tipped pink faux fur and her face and the fronts of her ears are a much longer fluffy, creamy mohair which has a very subtle pink backing.

Marvellous Maeve has coordinating hand dyed velvet paw pads, beautiful, large, hand painted eyes with eyelids, a splendid nose embroidered from individual threads to compliment her colouring and she has a sweet, friendly smile. Maeve is stuffed with polyester stuffing and plastic pellets which give her a little extra weight and make her a little more cuddly.

Marvellous Maeve is a very gentle bear, like a flower she needs a little love and attention, cakes are probably the best way of coaxing her out of her shell, then she will giggle and chortle like a small child.
