Pixie is a colourful one of a kind, mohair collector's dog by Barbara-Bears

Pixie is a friendly and very well behaved one of a kind, artist teddy dog made in beautifully coloured hand dyed mohair by Barbara Ann Bears

Pixie stands 10 inches( 25 cm) tall, she is 18 inches (46 cm) from nose to tail and she is 11 inches (28 cm) across the ears.

Pixie, as you can see, is a dog, she's a happy, pretty dog, a Wire Eared Rainbow Spaniel, she is, in fact, the only Wire Eared Rainbow Spaniel in the world. Although you'll never see her chasing rainbows, wagging her tail or licking your face you can imagine that she would be a very affectionate dog. Unfortunately, she can't do any of that, but she can stand attentively at your side or on a shelf or table, she could give your teddy bears a ride on her back too, she doesn't mind, she likes the company and to feel useful. We hope you like her.

Pixie is mostly made from a medium length, slightly shaggy mohair that Barbara has dyed in horizontal bands like a rainbow, her paws are yellow, her legs green, her flanks orange and her back is purple, they're all blended in very subtly and harmoniously, her long ears and her tail are a very long and straggly mohair hand dyed a warm orange on one side and a very long and twirly mohair hand dyed a warm yellow on the other. Her paw pads are made from her mohair trimmed down so that it is stubble-short.

Pixie has beautiful, hand painted, glass eyes, a splendid nose embroidered from individual threads that tie in with her colours and a rather hopeful expression, as if she's waiting for you to throw her a ball or take her for walkies. Pixie is stuffed with polyester stuffing with just a few glass beads in her feet to give her more balance. Pixie has a jointed head so that it can turn but her legs are not jointed, she has a very pretty pink collar. Pixie has (craft shop) pipe cleaners in her ears and tail which means they can be bent into position a little and also it holds them away from her body...it's what makes her a Wire Eared Rainbow Spaniel.

We hope you like Pixie, she is a beautifully coloured dog with a lovely personality, she'll never need feeding or walking and she'll definitely never make a mess, she'll just look sweetly at you all day long.
