Priscilla Proon is a calm and thoughtful, beautifully coloured, one of a kind artist bear, in gorgeous hand dyed mohair by Barbara Ann Bears
Priscilla Proon stands 12 inches( 30cm) tall and is 9 inches (23 cm) sitting.
Priscilla is a sweet and phlegmatic teddy bear, she's not a bear to get either wildly excited or deeply upset, she takes it all in her stride. When things aren't going well she'll say 'Don't worry, it will all work out in the end" and when something fantastic happens she'll just smile sweetly, which comes very naturally to a bear who has a sweet smile sewn on her face.
Priscilla Proon is mostly made from two pieces of mohair hand dyed by a bear making friend who has hung up her needle and put away her thread. The main mohair is a beautiful piece of hand dyed mohair, a very long and luxurious, tousled mohair hand dyed in a subtle dusky rose, her tummy, the fronts of her ears and the underside of her tail are made from a slightly wilder long tousled moahir hand dyed slate grey. Her face is made from a longer, straggly stone coloured mohair. She rose coloured velvet paw pads complement her mohair perfectly.
Priscilla Proon's large beautiful eyes and eyelids were hand painted to match her mohair and her nose was embroidered from individual threads to match her colouring, Priscilla has a very sweet and thoughtful smile. She is stuffed with plastic pellets and polyester stuffing to make her a little heavier and more cuddly.
Priscilla Proon is a calm and charming bear she makes you feel relaxed and warm inside. She's a gentle soul in need of a loving home, she's not particularly graceful or elegant, but solid and dependable and that might be just what you need in our world of turmoil.
Priscilla Proon is the first of her design, we hope you like her, and unless we can find her pattern she might be the only one of her design we ever make, any idea where we put it?
