Walter, a lovable, friendly, one of a kind, traditional artist teddy bear made from beautiful German mohair by Barbara-Ann Bears

Walter stands 11 inches (28cm) tall and is 8 inches (20cm) sitting.

Walter is a cuddly little bear with a very sweet character. He's a bear who is very happy to spend his whole life being cosseted with you, he doesn't want to roam the woods with the real bears that would make a terrible mess of his beautiful mohair, he's happy to sit on a comfortable cushion and wait for cake and marmalade sandwiches "But won't they make a terrible mess of your beautiful fur?" you might ask, "Thank you for your concern, it's a risk I'm prepared to take, one has to have a little danger in one's life" he would reply shortly before diving into a plate of sandwiches and making a terrible mess not only of his fur but your entire room. Walter comes from the same design as we used to make Marigold's teddy bear for Downton Abbey, so he does have a rather good pedigree, not that he cares a jot about that, he's just worried about their being a constant supply of food.

Walter is made from gorgeous dense, wavy, blonde German mohair and coordinating beige wool felt paw pads. Walter has gently coloured and painted eyes, a pert little nose carefully embroidered from a muted blend of brown and beige threads and the sweetest smile. Walter has plastic pellets in his tummy, arms and feet which makes him more pose-able and flexible, allowing him to sit comfortably and to mould to your body if you pick him up and give him a hug...he's a bear you can hug.

Walter is a lovely bear, he has the sweetest, most loving expression, he seems to be imploring you to pick him up and give him a hug.
