Alvin Puckleton is quite a little bear, he stands just 6.5 inches/16 cm tall and is 5 inches/13 cm sitting, these measurements don't include the long plume of hair on his head which adds another 2.5 inches (6cm).
Alvin Puckleton is a very happy little bear, a bear who radiates warmth and colour, he's quite tropical in his colouring, with his yellows, pinks, greens etc he could almost be a parrot or toucan. Unlike a parrot or toucan Alvin needs very little attention, he doesn't shout or squawk, he's very unlikely to fly around your living room or steal nuts and fruit from your plate, in fact he's a great deal easier to live with than a parrot or toucan and just as colourful. So, don't buy a parrot, buy an Alvin!
Alvin is made from several different fabrics, he's mainly a quite sparse 12mm mohair hand dyed a very sunny yellow and his tummy is a very soft and silky faux fur which is a dark violet with bright magenta tipping, it's the magenta that you see most of. His face is a longer, fluffy mohair hand dyed a strong blue, the fronts of his ears are mohair hand dyed bright green and the backs of his ears a longer, straight mohair hand dyed amber. On top of Jeremy's head there is a plume of long faux fur in blue, pink and yellow and the underside of his tail is a curly peach mohair with fiery orange tipping. Jeremy has coordinating multi coloured hand dyed velvet paw pads.
Alvin Puckleton has beautiful, hand painted eyes with hand coloured eyelids, a splendid nose embroidered from individual threads to complement his colouring and he has a sweet, friendly smile. Alvin Puckleton is stuffed with polyester stuffing and glass beads which give him a little extra weight and make him a little more cuddly.
