Ambrose is a charming, traditional one of a kind artist bear in German mohair by Barbara Ann Bears
Ambrose stands 10 inches/27 cm tall and is 7.5 inches/22 cm sitting.
Ambrose is a very well proportioned traditional teddy bear, he's not too stuffy, he's a friendly chap with a warm and loving expression. He has a long nose like the earliest teddy bears not that he's interested in early teddy bears, he is interested in finding the honey and that's where a long and very sensitive nose is invaluable.
Ambrose is made from beautiful, slightly wavy, warm antique gold German mohair, it was a small piece that came from an old teddy bear making friend and Ambrose was designed to make the best use of it. Ambrose has fawn ultrasuede paw pads and vintage boot buttons for eyes. He has a carefully embroidered little nose and the sweetest smile. He is stuffed with polyester stuffing and plastic pellets, which gives him a more cuddly and soft feel.
Ambrose is a sweet little bear, a proper little teddy in the Edwardian style, his expression more like a loving boy than a dignified adult, he's a bear who needs to be cherished and loved.
Ambrose is the first of his design so we hope that you like him.
