Angus is a very sweet and friendly artist teddy bear in gorgeous mohair by Barbara Ann Bears

Angus is 7.5 inches/19 cm tall and is 6 inches/15 cm sitting.

Angus is a wonderful traditional teddy bear, a bear we made in the early 1990s, before our bears were quite so colourful and extravagant. We designed him to make use of an oddment of mohair of mohair left over from a larger bear and he proved to be very popular. Now we use tiny pieces of mohair, maybe just enough for a tail, nothing goes to waste.

Angus is made from a wonderful grey mohair that has very fine black threads running through it, it's a little fluffy and distressed, it's not a type of mohair that is made anymore which makes him just that little bit extra special. Angus has grey wool felt paw pads and gorgeous vintage boot buttons for eyes, in fact as Angus is over 30 years old he could be considered vintage himself, not sure what that makes us. Angus has a little, carefully embroidered black nose and a very relaxed and lovable expression.

Angus is stuffed quite firmly with polyester polyester stuffing with some plastic pellets in his tummy that give him a little extra weight and cuddlability. As with all our bears he is 5-way jointed.

Angus has our original sew in label in his back.

Angus is a very sweet and very friendly bear, a bear who needs lots of love and affection, he's an elderly chap and just wants a quiet seat where he can see what's going on and occasionally have a brief cuddle.  We hope you like him.
