Billy 'Brains' McMurray, a cheerful, inquisitive and loveable one of a kind artist bear in wonderful mohair and faux fur by Barbara-Ann Bears

Billy 'Brains' McMurray stands 13.5 inches (34 cm) tall and is 10 inches ( 25 cm) sitting.

You might think that the 'Brains' in Billy 'Brains' McMurray's name refers to his sparkling wit and intelligence, but sadly it just refers to the resemblance the pattern of the fur on his tummy has to brain coral. Billy has a perfectly fine brain (for a teddy bear) but if you were looking for a bear to help with your tax return, write a witty wedding speech or simply cook a four course meal for six people you will find him no use whatsoever, that is apart from his gentle encouragement and love which is all you can really expect from a teddy bear.

Billy 'Brains' McMurray is mainly made from a straight pile strawberry red mohair which has very subtle brown tipping. His tummy is the aforementioned soft, turquoise faux fur with a black 'brain coral' pattern and his face, the backs of his ears and the underside of his tail are a very long, fluffy, beige mohair. Billy has hand dyed velvet paw pads which blend with his colouring wonderfully.

Billy 'Brains' McMurray has beautiful hand painted eyes with hand coloured eyelids, a splendid nose embroidered from individual threads to match his colouring and a beaming smile. Billy is stuffed with polyester stuffing and plastic pellets which give him a little extra weight and make him a little more cuddly. As with all our bears Billy 'Brains' McMurray is 5-way jointed.

Billy 'Brains' McMurray is a sweet and gentle bear with beautiful soft colouring and a benign, cheerful expression. He may not bring any additional brainpower to your home, but he will bring love and lots of affection.
