Bobby Bibba is a very fashionable and exotic, one of a kind, artist bear by Barbara-Ann Bears in luxurious mohair and upcycled Biba faux fur
Bobby Bibba stands 15 inches (38 cm) tall and is 12 inches (30 cm) sitting.
Bobby Bibba is a gorgeous and striking fluffy teddy bear. His life started out rather differently, he was once a rather glamorous short gillet, made by the iconic fashion house Biba. Not from their heyday in the 60s, when their clothes were must have gear for any trendy starlet on the scene, there was no faux fur like this back then, this would be from one of Biba's reincarnations but still highly fashionable. Barbara is very proud that she managed to transplant the striking chevron pattern from the jacket to Bobby's tummy, he looks fab, terrific, cool, smokin'...
As explained above Bobby Bibba is made from the most gorgeous and luxurious long faux fur with tiger-like overlaying bands of very dark brown and warm caramel which in turn is banded and tipped with dark brown. His face and the fronts of his ears are a very, long and fluffy caramel mohair which is a perfect match for his faux fur. Bobby has spotted, dark brown on beige, animal print velour paw pads which complement his mohair perfectly.
Bobby Bibba has beautiful hand painted glass eyes with hand painted eyelids, a wonderfully embroidered nose, sewn from individual threads to match his colouring and a rather reflective expression (maybe there is a hint of "look at me I'm a fashion icon") and he has a huge beaming smile. He is stuffed with plastic pellets and polyester stuffing to make him more poseable, a little heavier and more cuddly. We will enclose his original Biba label and tag to complete him, we do love a bit of upcycling
Bobby Bibba is a gorgeous and impressive bear, he isn't brightly coloured but he definitely stands out. He is a very sweet and cuddly teddy bear, with beautiful eyes and a fabulous expression. And when your friends come round and say "oh, he's a lovely bear!", you can reply, "Oh, him? Yes, he's Biba darling"
