Buddy is a charming, traditional one of a kind artist bear in German mohair by Barbara Ann Bears
Buddy stands 8.5 inches/21 cm tall and is 6 inches/15 cm sitting.
Buddy is a lovely traditional teddy bear, he's not too stuffy, he's a friendly chap with a warm and loving expression. He was designed to be like a friendly little bear cub, a sweet little bear that you can't resist picking up and giving a cuddle. He's a bear who loves a cuddle and also loves a large slice of cake, which might be why he has quite a rotund bear.
Buddy is made from two pieces of very beautiful, antique gold German mohair, his head a nd body are a fluffy, quite straight pile mohair and his arms and legs have a wavy texture (probably caused by him brushing through the undergrowth as he made his way out of the woods). He has brown wool-felt paw pads and vintage boot buttons for eyes. He has a carefully embroidered little nose and the sweetest smile. He is stuffed with polyester stuffing and plastic pellets, which gives him a more cuddly and soft feel.
Buddy is a sweet little bear, a proper little bear who looks like he's wandered out of the woods and needs to be rescued from our mad noisy world. He's a bear who needs to be cherished and loved.
Buddy is the first of his design, we hope you like him.
