Danny Dalrymple is a very sweet and happy one of a kind, mohair artist bear by Barbara-Ann Bears
Danny Dalrymple stands 8 inches/20cm tall and is 6.5 inches/17 cm sitting.
Danny Dalrymple is a delightful little bear, he has a very sweet personality and is beautifully coloured. We bought his mohair about 20 years ago, it was available in blue, gold, red and purple and this is the last of it, well we have enough left to make a couple of ears and a tail but not another bear, Danny will be the last bear we can make from it, unless we can find some more.
Danny Dalrymple's main mohair is a very rare, almost vintage, medium length, slightly wavy German mohair that has a dark brown base, the tips were then bleached and then the very ends dyed blue, so it has three colours along each thread. His tummy is a dense straight pile nearly white mohair which has a few black threads to make it come to life and his face, the fronts of his ears and the underside of his tail are a long fluffy white mohair tipped with blue. He has hand-dyed velvet paw pads which tie in with his mohair beautifully.
Danny Dalrymple has beautiful, hand painted eyes with eyelids, a splendid nose embroidered from individual threads to complement his colouring and he has a sweet, friendly smile. Danny is stuffed with polyester stuffing and plastic pellets which give him a little extra weight and make him a little more cuddly.
Danny Dalrymple is a friendly sweet little bear, he has a very positive and loving attitude, he's the sort of bear who wants to pick you up when you are down, who wants to see you smiling.
