Dorothy is a delightful, traditional, one of a kind artist teddy bear, in fabulous hand dyed mohair by Barbara Ann Bears

Dorothy stands 15.5 inches/39cm tall and is 11 inches/28cm sitting.

Dorothy is a beautiful traditional bear, a sweet and gentle bear with a warm and friendly personality, she's always ready for a hug. She's made from wonderful hand dyed mohair in happy spring colours that are like primroses and daffodils bursting through the snow. 

Dorothy is mostly made from a wonderful dense, straight pile German mohair which Barbara has hand-dyed in a strong daffodil yellow, there are patches where the mohair isn't dyed and is left it's natural off-white and some areas of peach that show through from the backcloth. Dorothy's tummy is a similar mohair left in its original white . Dorothy has coordinating hand-dyed velvet paw pads.

Dorothy has large black glass eyes, a very impressive nose carefully embroidered with individual threads to also match her colouring and a content and gracious expression.

Dorothy is stuffed with a mixture of polyester stuffing and plastic pellets, giving him a cuddly and relaxed demeanour, comfortable and easy to pose and hug. As with all our bears he is 5-way jointed.

Dorothy is a sweet and cuddly teddy bear, gracious and very friendly, she's a pleasure to live with and cuddle.
