Errol is a fairly large and impressive one of a kind rabbit in beautiful long almost white mohair by Barbara Ann Bears
Errol stands 16.5 inches/42 cm tall, he is 13 inches/33 cm sitting and his ears span 14 inches/18 cm across the top.
Errol is an almost life-size almost white rabbit, he's the sort of rabbit who doesn't want to go out digging up carrots and lettuces in case it gets his fur dirty, well he does have particularly beautiful fur. You can tell from Errol's expression that he isn't a particularly happy bunny, sadly he's fallen on hard times which is why he is looking for a new home... Until quite recently he lived rent free in his burrow on farmer McPhudd's farm, but this all changed when farmer McPhudd organised a haggis hunt to provide haggises for the Chieftain's Burn's Night Supper held at the big house on the hill. On the evening of the hunt all the haggises were driven past Errol's burrow, he could sense their panic and in an act of haggis-mercy he provided sanctuary for them in his burrow. Farmer McPhudd was forced to take the blame, he couldn't provide the haggises for the Chieftain’s Burn's Night Supper and was cast out of the McPhudd clan in disgrace. Incensed, with nostril's flaring, he bellowed at Errol and his pack of renegade haggises " Leave my land forthwith and ne'er return, or there'll be a bubbling cauldron of rabbit and haggis stew afore the day is through!". So to cut a long story short Errol is a homeless bunny, he's a well behaved rabbit, he's happy to live in a house, digging a new burrow would really mess up his beautiful fur. He likes cheap food, mainly carrots and lettuces, maybe the occasional scone, and possibly some clotted cream and jam and a nice cup of tea made from the freshest leaves harvested early on a misty morning in the hills of Darjeeling, he's not a fussy bunny and he might even become a happy bunny again.
Errol is almost entirely made from a beautiful, very long and curly pearl white mohair with pearl white wool-felt paw pads. He has large hand painted mainly blue glass eyes with eyelids, a sweet, mainly pink nose sewn from individual threads and a rather melancholy expression. Errol's ears have wire inside to make them poseable and more rigid. He is stuffed with plastic pellets and polyester stuffing to make him heavier and more cuddly. Oh, almost forgot, Errol has a lovely fluffy pink tail, made from very long pink mohair.
Errol is sweet and loving stay at home bunny, a rabbit who will be eternally grateful to sit at your side and is very happy to let all the other rabbits of the world dig their burrows, they can get their fur as dirty as they like, his has to remain perfectly clean and beautiful.
