Floyd is a distinguished, quietly happy and beautifully coloured bear, a bear of soothing, pastel colouring, peaches, pinks and oranges, he is quite a pink Floyd. He isn't garish or jarring, he's peacefully colourful like the afterglow of a sunset or the hour before sunrise, when the world is quiet and calm. Floyd was designed for his mohair, to be lanky and languid, yet still elegant and handsome, he is quite charming.
Floyd is made from a very long, shaggy, very distressed mohair full of straggles with some curls floating above the surface but mostly a froth of swirling knots and mats, Barbara has hand dyed this in a gorgeous blend of peaches, pinks and oranges. Floyd's hand-dyed velvet paw pads compliment his mohair beautifully.
Floyd has large, beautiful, hand painted, glass eyes with eyelids which together with his carefully embroidered nose were all made to incorporate the colours of his mohair and as you can see Floyd has a broad, beaming smile. Floyd is stuffed with polyester stuffing and plastic pellets which make him a little heavier and more cuddly.
Floyd is a handsome chap, a quiet and dignified fellow to sit with you and emanate calm while brightening your day and hopefully making you smile, we think he's quite splendid.

As with all our bears Floyd is not a toy, he is an adult collectable and unsuitable for children under 14.
Sadly the flower in Floyd's photos doesn't come with the bear, we need it to decorate our lounge and put smiles on our own faces.
