Gubbins is a very sweet little artist bear in wildly curly mohair by Barbara-Ann Bears
Gubbins stands just 6.5 inches(17 cm) tall and is 5 inches (12.5 cm) sitting.
Gubbins is a wild and shaggy chap, a bear who loves to be out in the garden looking after the flowers. 'Looking after the flowers' means smelling the flowers, nothing too demanding like watering or weeding would occur to Gubbins, he thinks flowers appear by magic, which is the same way marmalade sandwiches seem to appear out of nowhere to him.
Gubbins is made from the most wonderful, wildly curly beige gold mohair, with a slightly warmer backcloth. Gubbins has beige German wool felt paw pads that blend with his mohair perfectly.
Gubbins has black boot button eyes, like the old teddy bears. He has a carefully embroidered nose and a warm beaming smile which gives him that very sweet 'please pick me up and love me' expression. He is stuffed with glass beads and polyester stuffing to make him a little heavier and more cuddly, he is quite heavy for such a little chap.
Gubbins is very happy to sit at home, quietly watching TV with you, but he much prefers to 'help you' in the garden. He knows the names of all the flowers, those big pink smelly ones, pretty yellow ones but not those little blue ones, he can never remember the names of those (forget me nots). Then he'll hurry back for his marmalade sandwiches, doughnuts and sticky buns, anything that will make a mess of his fur.
Gubbins is the first of his design so we hope you love him.
