Hubert PRINTED jointed mohair teddy bear sewing pattern to make a traditional 19 inch/48cm mohair teddy bear by Barbara-Ann Bears

THIS IS THE PRINTED VERSION OF THE HUBERT TEDDY BEAR PATTERN WHICH WE WILL SEND TO YOU IN THE POST.

The Hubert pattern makes a sweet, old-fashioned Barbara-Ann jointed teddy bear who stands about 19 inches/48cm tall.

We've used this pattern to make our Hubert in vintage English mohair and 25mm ratinee mohair, although you can make him in a variety of mohairs ranging from 3mm vintage mohair to 25mm distressed mohair and in crushed velvet.  Hubert is an old style, traditional bear and he's fairly easy to make even for a beginner. The pieces fit together easily, there are no darts and no need to gather pieces in order to make them fit. He's a bear you can make in a comfortable chair while watching TV and suitable for sewing by hand or machine.

The pattern includes all the instructions you need to make your bear with many diagrams for the more difficult parts. The pattern and instructions are on 19 x A4 sheets, the pattern is full sized, it's as big a bear as we can fit on A4 paper.
