Isambard is a charming and very friendly, one of a kind, artist bear by Barbara-Ann Bears in a winter medley of wonderful mohair & faux fur

Isambard stands 14.5 inches(37 cm) tall and is 10.5 inches (27 cm) sitting.

Isambard is a very handsome teddy bear, a bear of subtle wintry colouring, he conjures up images of snow-tipped mountains, glaciers and frozen forests. Of course he has never been anywhere near a frozen mountain but a bear can dream... He is the first of his design, he was designed to make use of the wonderful mohair that we bought quite recently from a retiring bear maker, it's always sad to think that it might be the last time you see a face you've known for the last 25 years, it's almost as if we're all getting older...

Isambard is mostly made from some medium length, straight pile mohair that is a dullish shade of white, this has a black thread mixed in with it which gives it a little extra life, it's like little flecks of black in a glacier. His face and the fronts of his ears are made from a much longer, very fluffy, creamy white mohair and his tummy and the underside of his tail are a beautiful, faux fur which is warm brown tipped with white. Isambard has grey wool felt paw pads that compliment his mohair perfectly.

Isambard has beautiful hand painted glass eyes with eyelids and a splendid nose embroidered with individual threads, all were created to complement his colouring and as you can see he has a broad and cheerful smile. Isambard is stuffed with plastic pellets and polyester stuffing to make him a little heavier and more cuddly.

Isambard is a bear of the wonderful wintry colours with the warmest and most loving of personalities. He is quite restrained and thoughtful, he could be thinking how lucky he is to have a warm, loving home although he will still dream about climbing the high snowy peaks, crossing immense glaciers and trudging through frozen forests. For all his dreams he's just a teddy bear, a sweet, gentle fellow ready to share lots of love and hugs with you.

As with all our bears Isambard is not a toy, he is an adult collectable and unsuitable for children under 14.
