Matthew is a charming and traditional mohair artist bear by Barbara Ann Bears of the same design as the teddy bear we made for Downton Abbey

Matthew is a very well proportioned traditional teddy bear, he's not too stuffy, he's a friendly chap with a warm and loving expression. He is from the same design as Marigold's teddy that we made for the TV series Downton Abbey, he has famous relatives...
Matthew is made from beautiful, wavy, fairly long beige coloured German mohair, he has beige German wool-felt paw pads and vintage boot buttons for eyes. He has a carefully embroidered nose and a sweet smile. He is stuffed with polyester stuffing and plastic pellets, which gives him a more cuddly and soft feel.
Matthew has a small metal heart sewn on to the left hand side of his chest, this is inscribed with the words 'Made With Love' because like all our bears he is made with love, that's the only way you can make a proper teddy bear.
Matthew is a sweet little bear, a proper little teddy in the Edwardian style, his expression more like a loving boy than a dignified adult, he's a bear who needs to be cherished and loved.
