Obadiah is a very shaggy, wild and wonderful, one of a kind, artist teddy bear in gorgeous faux fur & fluffy mohair by Barbara-Ann Bears
Obadiah is quite a large and heavy teddy bear, he stands 19 inches (48 cm) tall and is 16 inches (41 cm) sitting.
Obadiah is a big, heavy bear with a very dignified and relaxed manner. A gentle bear always ready for a little (or a lot of) hugging. He is a bear of the high mountains, with colouring like slate and limestone he blends in very well with the rock faces where he lies in wait for his prey. His 'prey' is mainly mountaineers from whom politely requests chocolate, biscuits, honey, marmalade, opened tins of fruit and strawberries sumptuously covered with double cream. "I'm just a poor bear from a poor family. Can you spare me some fruit and a little double cream?' He's a mountain bear with simple tastes and an admirable ability to turn song lyrics to his advantage.
Obadiah is mostly made from a very long, shaggy and dense faux fur which is a deep slate grey with cream tipping. Obadiah's face, tummy the fronts of his ears and the underside of his tail are made from a very long and soft cream coloured mohair which has a pale beige backcloth. Obadiah has coordinating paw pads made from grey German wool felt.
Obadiah has large, beautiful, hand painted glass eyes with hand coloured eyelids, he has a carefully embroidered nose that incorporates all of his colours and a sweet, thoughtful smile. He is stuffed with plastic pellets and polyester stuffing making him a little more cuddly and loveable.
Obadiah is a wonderful, big, friendly bear whose long arms are made for cuddling, a bear who needs to hug and comfort. He's equally happy to sit though, just to be there at your side while you get on with life, he'll be there when you need him... unless he's gone back to the mountains to beg for his favourite snacks, it's probably best to keep him fully snacked at home to stop him wandering off.

As with all our bears Obadiah is not a toy, he is an adult collectable and unsuitable for children under 14.
