Ollie, an appealingly fluffy and friendly one of a kind artist teddy bear in stunning mohair and faux fur by Barbara-Ann Bears
Ollie stands 15 inches (39 cm) tall and is 11 inches (28 cm) sitting.
Ollie is a sweet, handsome bear, a bear who loves people and honey. He isn't blessed with the intelligence of a rocket scientist but then again name me a bear who is. He's a chap who's happy to bumble along through life just being polite and trying not to get in anyone's way. He does really love honey though and should you be unwise enough to stand between him and his honey you might suffer from a very belligerent "Hmmmpphh!" before he sits down and wonders what to do next, staring at you with puppy dog eyes is his usual recourse and this works very well, he is very sweet and handsome bear after all.
Ollie is mostly made from a long and wispy, 'gingerbread brown' German mohair, his tummy and the underside of his tail are a very long, beige faux fur with very subtle brown tipping and his face and the fronts of his ears are a very long and fluffy cream mohair. Ollie has beige German wool felt paw pads which complement his mohair perfectly.
Ollie has beautiful glass eyes hand painted to match his colouring, with eyelids, a splendid, neatly embroidered nose that captures the colours of his eyes and mohair and a warm and jovial smile. Ollie is stuffed with plastic pellets and polyester stuffing making him a little more cuddly and a little heavier.
Ollie is a warm and amicable fellow, he loves to sit and watch TV, he'll never be any trouble, he won't get up in the middle of the night, wander into the kitchen open all the cupboards, carelessly emptying them on to the floor in an endless search for honey, oh, now I come to mention it, that's exactly what he might do. It's best to give him his own personal jar of honey (marked 'Ollie's Honey others will be Hmmpppphhhed!') and let him get on with it, yes it will be very messy but it's the lesser of two evils.
