Philip Phillyfaddle is a wildly fluffy and handsome one of a kind artist teddy bear in gorgeous mohair and faux fur by Barbara Ann Bears.
Philip Phillyfaddle stands 14.5 inches( 37 cm) tall and is 11.5 inches (29 cm) sitting.
Philip Phillyfaddle is a striking bear, primarily a black and white teddy but with splashes of vibrant colour, maybe a little like a toucan, or a colobus monkey who had an accident with some paint while redecorating his apartment. He's a handsome chap but he's not vain in any way, he has a huge smile and a twinkle in his eye, you get the sense that he is just waiting for a chance to have some fun... although hopefully not with any paint.
Philip Phillyfaddle is made from three different pieces of fabric, he's mostly made from a very long, very soft faux fur which is banded in black and silver, the silver being tipped with black, his tummy is a similar faux fur but has patches of black, magenta and gold tipped white. His face, the fronts of his ears and the underside of his tail are a very long and fluffy white mohair. Barbara has cut the fabric so that the black forms an arc of black around his white face and also so that the bands match up on his arms and legs... she said it almost killed her, so it's worth mentioning.
Philip Phillyfaddle has grey felt paw pads which compliment his colouring perfectly. He has big, beautiful, sparkling, hand painted glass eyes which together with his wonderful nose (embroidered from individual threads) enhance his colouring and, of course, he has a charming smile. Philip is stuffed with plastic pellets and polyester stuffing to make him a little heavier and more cuddly.
Philip Phillyfaddle is a charming bear, a handsome and happy chap with great presence and style. He just wants to bring a smile to your face and only hopes to receive an occasional hug in return, we hope you love him.
