Rufus is a wild and wonderful yet rather sad one of a kind artist bear made from beautiful, long, fluffy, tipped mohair by Barbara Ann Bears
Rufus stands 13.5 inches( 34 cm) tall and is 11 inches (28 cm) sitting.
Rufus is a wild thing, he would like to think that he's a tiger, climbing through trees, growling and snarling, but he's just a very shaggy teddy bear and a very sweet one at that. For all his unkempt shagginess he's quite a dignified bear, he has a thoughtful 'How may I help you?' expression, or is it a thoughtful 'when are we going to climb some trees?' expression, maybe you will realise the answer when you are calling the Emergency Services to be rescued...
Rufus is mainly made from a gorgeous, very, very long, shaggy, tousled ginger mohair with dark brown tipping, his face, the fronts of his ears and the underside of his tail are a long, wispy cream coloured mohair and his tummy is a dense, short ginger mohair with dark brown tipping, he's a very wild and luxurious bundle of fluff. Rufus has dark brown coloured German woolfelt paw pads which compliment his colouring perfectly.
Rufus has beautiful slightly sparkling glass eyes which were painted to match his colouring, a perfect nose embroidered from individual threads to also match his mohair and a slightly sad expression. He is stuffed with plastic pellets and polyester stuffing to make him a little heavier and more cuddly. As with all our bears Pete is 5-way jointed.
Rufus is a very sweet and friendly bear, yes, he definitely looks wild, but looks can be misleading, he's just a teddy bear looking for a warm, loving home where he can be hugged and admired... he loves to be admired, well he is rather magnificent, it's quite easy to admire him.
